Update for Week Three

This week Mathew and I continued working on our project by arranging a few more pieces, and editing the ones we had already worked on. We are very pleased about the progress we have made so far with the songs, and have started making plans for recording.

The recording process may be difficult, since we are in different states currently, so we are hoping to plan this out ahead of time in order to avoid any issues and to leave extra time to allow for issues out of our control.

The songs we have started arranging are Clock Tower and Fairy Fountain. Since I have arranged Fairy Fountain for flute alone in the past, it was especially interesting adding the piano to the texture and experimenting with something new. All of my arranging and recording experience has been for only flute, so it has been especially interesting to learn more about another instrument and see the process.

Next week, we hope to have the arrangements finished and will be preparing for the recording process. Thanks so much for reading and we're excited to update you on our progress next week!
