
About me
Hallie Ward is from Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently in the final semester of her Master of Music in Performance, studying under Dr. Stephen Clark. Hallie received her Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Arizona, where she studied with Dr. Brian Luce.
Hallie is currently a Graduate Assistant and works with both the flute studio and Magale recording booth. She is principal flute of the Northwestern State University Wind Symphony and the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra. Hallie also performs with the flute choir and various chamber groups.

Hallie Ward was one of the winners of the 2024 Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra Concerto/Aria Competition. She has performed at the 2019 National Flute Association Convention in Salt Lake City with University of Arizona’s Flutefinity and at New York’s Carnegie Hall with the Young Adult Honors Performance Series Wind Ensemble. Hallie Ward has performed in masterclasses for Marks Sparks, Susan Milan, and Karl “Fritz” Kraber. She has attended the British Isles Music Festival and ARIA International Music Festival.

Hallie Ward will perform Frank Martin’s Ballade for flute, string orchestra, and piano on April 24 with the Natchitoches-Northwestern Symphony Orchestra
